Osteria Dei Ganzi
1891 landmark reimagined with unique marble bar, wine rack, and wood floors.
Beautiful heritage building originally crafted in 1891 by famed architect George Horace Gooderham. W Construction was engaged to build the new home for Osteria Dei Ganzi. All new plumbing, mechanical & electrical systems were completed throughout the kitchen, prep rooms, bar & washroom areas (including all cooking equipment & appliances in the BOH). The design required many custom pieces from our specialty fabricators including authentic Statuario marble wrap around bar and marble look quartz for the dining room tabletops. Both on-site and shop finished metal work to create elaborate bar displays and logo integrated guard system. Floor to ceiling live edge wine rack is a showpiece that garners attention in this unique space. The intricate one-of-a-kind wood floors were refinished to their original luster and commercial stair runners were installed to three staircases in keeping with the overall old world charm aesthetic.
